Customizing the off-roader with some OEM parts.
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee was engineered to be the most capable mid-size off-road SUV on the market. So far, it’s done pretty well in terms of sales and has made quite a name for itself through the dirt, mud, and gravel as its powerful Jeep wheels claw away. Now Jeep and MOPAR are offering up a wide range of accessories inside and out for the new 2014 Cherokee so that their owners can make their SUV custom-tailored to their utility, styling and comfort needs.
The new range of accessories from MOPAR totals over 100 in itself. Everything from new Jeep wheels to side sills, cargo upgrades, and side mirrors can be added to make owning a Cherokee even more enjoyable.
“Whether navigating the trails or hitting the streets, MOPAR offers customers more than 100 choices in upgrading the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of MOPAR — Chrysler Group’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “MOPAR is committed to supporting owners of all Chrysler Group vehicles with quality-tested, authentic parts and accessories that deliver a vast number of customization options to suit any style.”
One of the more popular option accessories will easily be the Jeep Cargo Management System (JCMS). The new MOPAR upgrade helps to organize cargo better by utilizing a module rack mounted on the rear driver’s side of the trunk and includes hooks as well as a removable first-aid kit. Other optional packs such as the Tailhawk Off-Road accessory kit, Roadside safety kit, cooler, and storage tote can also be purchased as well.
Toughened accessories from MOPAR also help make traversing rough terrain easier in the Cherokee. New door sill guards, front and rear splash guards, Jeep wheels, wheel covers, and suspension pieces allow the Cherokee to navigate harsh terrain better than anything else in its class. Even the differential and braking system that sits behind the new Jeep wheels can be upgraded along with the exhaust system, clutch, and other parts of the drivetrain.
Other electronic aids can also be added in from the MOPAR portfolio. MOPAR web and MOPAR Electronic Vehicle Tracking System (EVTS) can be installed to make things a bit more advanced for the technology geeks.
All of the new MOPAR and Jeep Performance accessories are currently available for the all-wheel and front-wheel drive 2014 Jeep Cherokees with gasoline or diesel engines.
