Ready for anything right from the factory.

For the past 48 years, Jeep and off road enthusiasts have gathered for the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. Here, thousands blaze through the various off road trails to showcase the performance of their vehicles and have some fun in the process. This year, Jeep and MOPAR have teamed up to create six different special edition Jeep models for the occasion, one of them being the Wrangler Level Red that pays tribute to the designation for the hardest trails in the country.

“We head to Moab and the Easter Jeep Safari with six new vehicles we know Jeep enthusiasts will truly appreciate – including our first two new Jeep Cherokee models built specifically for this important event,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “We look forward to putting these new Jeep vehicles in their proper environment and receiving important feedback from our most loyal customers at their favorite annual off-road gathering.”

The new Wrangler Level Red has every part you’ll need to take on the toughest and most demanding trails around the world. The new Jeep rims wear special off road tires, beefed up suspension components, a more powerful engine, and various styling aspects inside and out.

The new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine in the Wrangler Level Red now sends even more power to all four Jeep rims thank to the addition of a new cold air intake and new exhaust system with a lower backpressure. A new Parts Rock-Trac transfer case provides a 4:1 low range, Jeep Performance Parts Dana 44 crate axles with a 4:10 ratio, and two-inch lift kit help make overcoming obstacles easier and allow the off road tires more clearance to grab at the rough terrain below.

Doing most of the work when it comes to grip are new Jeep rims paired up with some beefy off road tires. Right from the factory, the Wrangler Level Red comes standard with prototype 17 x 8.0 inch beadlock-capable Jeep rims wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain off road tires available through the MOPAR tireworks program.

The exterior is just as powerful and dynamic as what sits beneath it. The Wrangler Level Red was given a TorRed prototype graphic pin stripe that runs from the hood to the rear. New Rubicon 10th Anniversary bumpers help to add a bit of protection and work with the Aero bumper ends and underbody skid plate to prevent damage from the terrain. A MOPAR half-door kit stands between passengers and the trail. Special sports badges for each of the five Moab trails seen as Badge of Honor tails by Jeep can also be added to the exterior.

Inside, occupants are comforted by special red Tuscany Katzkin leather seats with red stitching along with the arm rests. Flame red and TorRed adorns the seatbelts, HVAC knobs, and roll bar padding. Contrasting gloss black is worn by the steering wheel spokes and dashboard grab handles. Drivers also benefit from the Jeep Cargo Management System (JCMS), new grab handles, mud flaps, and all-weather cargo mats.
