Sometimes a new wheel and tire setup makes things right.
In the world of off road vehicles, the expensive, modified, and upgraded trucks and SUVs rein king of the mountain with their abilities to seemingly conquer anything they face. Today’s automotive technology has made traditional trunks and SUVs more capable than ever before and while these expensive modified all-terrain monsters still rule, many SUVs are making headway. Sometimes, all you need with a SUV is a set of new ATX Wheels and off road tires to turn your daily driver into a light off roader.
Take this 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport for example. The SUV is designed for both on-road, daily driving duties but also has all sorts of technology and was designed to be able to handle all kinds of terrain. The factory set of rims and tires were removed and replaced with a new set of Slot Black ATX Wheels with a black face and silver outer edge that provides a contrast to the factory silver paint of the Jeep Wrangler. The new ATX Wheels were installed in a wider and larger 17 x 8.0 setup at the front and rear axles with a 4.5-inch backspacing. The new wheels are more than capable of any all-terrain duty thanks to the new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO off road tires in a 305/65/17 setup. These tires offer up superb on and off road traction and feature reinforced sidewalls to prevent puncture and improve stability.
Sometimes, all you need is a new set of ATX Wheels and some matching off road tires to completely change the look and character of a Jeep.
