Big, bad, American bull.
The Hummer brand may be dead, but that doesn’t mean its legacy can’t live on in lifted and loaded SUVs like this bad boy wearing new Rockstar Wheels. The American SUV is a monster and commands attention, even with its boxy styling. It was at home on the street or on the trails, and was quite the popular vehicle until it was discontinued in 2010.
This 2006 Hummer H3 isn’t your average big off road SUV. It’s 3.5-liter, inline-five cylinder L52 engine produces 220 horsepower and 225 lb-ft. of torque to all four of its Rockstar Wheels. While that’s not a huge deal of power, it is helped by the addition of a K&N FIPK cold air induction system for a few extra ponies.
Visually, this H3 is a bit more aggressive. The chrome highlights have all been stripped off in an effort to create a tougher, more all terrain look. The black exterior paint scheme helps the sinister character of the SUV along with its new Rockstar Wheels. The front grille, side mirrors, and door handles were all color-matched to the body paint, while the turn signals, side indicators, and taillights were all given a smoked tint. Even the windows were tinted black for a uniform look.
Making this Hummer H3 even more imposing is the addition of new Rockstar Wheels, beefed up bumper stops, and leveling kit. The factory rim and tire setup was swapped out for flat-black Rockstars with their five-spoke design and 20-inch diameter. The new wheels also wear 35 x 12.5 R20 Nitto Trail Grappler tires for that extra bit of grip when venturing into the trails. Completing the fitment is a new Trail Duty front leveling kit with extended bumper stops.
Inside, this Hummer H3 has all the goodies. There’s a large moonroof for those warm summer days, a Monsoon audio system with subwoofer, and full security system.
The Hummer H3 may no longer be new, but it’s still making a statement with a proper off road fitment.
