One of the most underrated luxury sedans on the market is the Hyundai Genesis. The upscale, affordable sedan doesn’t have the same brand recognition as its competition, but it sneaks under the radar with a very affordable price and a host of standard amenities and features. This Empire State Gray 2015 model has stance, style, and prestige, especially with its new TSW Wheels.
The factory specs won’t blow the doors off of the competition. This 2015 Genesis and it’s 3.8-liter V-6 engine sends a respectable 311 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 293 lb-ft. of torque at 5,000 RPM to each of the rear TSW Wheels, giving it a suitable amount of power. The real attention-getting aspect is its design.
Although its South Korean roots are easily apparent, it’s unique and modern design and styling cues make it stand out compared to the Teutonic character of the Germans. Smooth lines, a clean silhouette, and a striking front fascia give it the confidence to be different, especially with its new TSW Wheels.
Here, this 2015 Hyundai Genesis was equipped with a set of TSW Bathurst rims sporting a smooth Gloss Gunmetal finish that perfectly matches the Empire State Gray paint. The 20-inch TSW Wheels are paired up with new ARK Performance springs that drop the ride height by 1.2- to 1.4-inches, depending on the axle for a flush, clean look.
Inside, the Hyundai Genesis entertains with audio glory thanks to a new 12-inch SSA GCON subwoofer that’s been tuned to 33 Hz and connected to a Nakamichi PA-1700 amplifier.
Although this Hyundai Genesis isn’t an overly modified luxury sedan, it still manages to stand out from its German and Japanese competition with a confident and powerful presence.
