EcoBoost time!
Ford is one of the many automakers these days that’s relying on technology and other things to make better vehicles. One of those technologies is their EcoBoost line of turbocharged engines that are smaller but still pack a punch. This Ford F-150 is one of those innovative machines and it also packs quite a bit of style with its new Fuel Rims.
This Ford F-150 packs the bigger of the two EcoBoost engines available in the model line that keeps fuel consumption lower and power on the up and up. Here, a 3.5-liter, twin turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 365 horsepower at 5,000 RPM and 420 lb-ft. of torque at 4,500 RPM for the Fuel Rims to eat up. All that is sent through a six speed automatic gearbox that’s able to handle some serious towing.
This black Ford F-150 also benefits from a little nip and tuck in the form of tinted taillights, tinted windows, and a nice little suspension lift. The latter raises the entire body up to make room for the new Fuel Rims and allows the truck to overcome higher obstacles while off roading.
The biggest eye catcher on this Ford F-150, however, is the new set of Fuel Contra – D615 wheels. These Fuel Rims feature a Gloss Black and Milled finish and measure a generous 20 inches in diameter at the front and rear. The ten-spoke Fuel Contra – D615 wheels also have a deep concave face that gives the truck the truck a powerful and intimidating presence. Finishing off the fitment is a new set of Fuel Gripper M/T tires that make getting grip in off road situations a bit easier.
This Ford F-150 isn’t just at the forefront with its EcoBoost engine and technology, but in terms of style as well.
