Off-road, of course!
The Toyota Tacoma is the king of the mid-size pickup trucks despite recent entries in the game from Chevrolet, GMC, and soon, Ford. They’ve been making a solid pickup truck for decades and continue to do so with a reliable off-roader. This Tacoma, however, has a bit extra from its Fuel Wheels on up to the tonneau cover, and it’s looking to blaze its own trail.
This Toyota Tacoma started out as a pretty capable model right from the factory. It comes packing a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that spits out 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft. of torque which now drives a set of Fuel Wheels. There’s loads of off-road goodies and hardware installed from the factory as well for the TRD Off-Road and Off-Road Pro models as well for drivers to take advantage of on the trails.
This owner decided to take things to the next level themselves. A new tonneau cover was installed over the bed for added utility while a new roof rack system was thrown on the roof to carry more gear. New LED lights have been installed on the roof and in the grille. There’s also a suspension lift kit that allows for more vertical travel of the Fuel Wheels to overcome obstacles better.
The star of the show here is the new set of Fuel Nitro – D668 rims. These Fuel Nitro – D668s have a rugged and purposeful look that are perfect for this Toyota Tacoma. Here, they are installed in a 17 x 9.0 front and rear fitment and finished in Anthracite to match the factory body color. Each one of the Fuel Wheels also wears Fuel Gripper A/T tires that measure 285/70/17 and are perfect for churning through any kind of terrain.
This Toyota Tacoma has all the factory goodies that you could ask for plus some extra like its new Fuel Nitro – D668 rims to make driving off-road even more enjoyable.
