Quite the scary situation on the Autobahn.

Getting a puncture at any speed can be a very frightening experience, no matter what kind of vehicle you’re driving. When it happens on the Autobahn at 207.5 mph, you’re going to likely have to change your pants. That’s why having a proper set of rims and tires is so important when driving.

This 997 Porsche 911 GT2 has more than enough power to rip through some rims and tires at the rear, no matter how sticky they may be. The twin-turbocharged flat-six sitting behind the cabin sends out 523 horsepower and 505 lb-ft. of torque in a hellishly raw way.

With that kind of power reaching the rear rims and tires, it’s no wonder that accelerating to 62 mph takes just 3.5 seconds. Top speed is also past 200 mph, and both those figures can improve with modifications. That type of performance is very tempting for drivers to take advantage of, but with that kind of power comes great responsibility. Just ask this driver.

While speeding along the German Autobahn, this driver decided to take his Porsche 911 GT2 well into the triple-digit range, capping out at a whopping 207.5 mph. That’s some serious stress on the aerodynamics and also the rims and tires.

While at speed, one of the tires was punctured and immediately the driver struggled to control the vehicle as it slowly decelerated. Luckily, the driver was able to steer it to the side of the roadway safely, avoiding what could’ve been a very disastrous accident.
