Time to get the Porsche dirty!
When you think of a Porsche, you think of a vehicle that’s designed to rule the asphalt. No matter what model, there’s some kind of sport tucked away beneath that likes to come out and have fun. That’s even the case with the Cayenne. However, these German luxury SUVs aren’t afraid to get their truck wheels muddy.
While the team at Spectro Racing is usually showing off their talents on the pavement of an Auto-X track, they decided to take a first-generation Porsche Cayenne and its truck wheels out for a dirty detour.
Even the top-of-the-line Porsche Cayenne Turbo can get the job done. The Turbo and its twin-turbocharged V-8 engine sending 490 horsepower and 520 lb-ft. of torque to all four truck wheels was the weapon of choice for this task.
Although the Porsche Cayenne Turbo isn’t exactly designed for this, there was a Cayenne S Transsyberia model in 2009 that featured a number of off road upgrades. Still, these truck wheels and their beefy tires had some trouble with a few of the harder obstacles, but still came through in the end. That V-8 rumbling under throttle is pretty intoxicating as well.
