It’s back!
After a number of years, the Ford Ranger is back in the North American market. The success from GM with the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon was just too hard for Ford to look past and they brought back their mid-size pickup. This bad boy is coming in hot with a new set of Fuel Wheels and some other goodies.
For the US market, the Ford Ranger is coming in with a stout 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine wearing the EcoBoost badge proudly. Here, it makes a hefty 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft. of torque for the rear Fuel Wheels to consume and haul whatever drivers desire. There’s also a 10-speed automatic transmission that’s perfect for fuel economy and low-end power.
This Ford Ranger is one of the first here in the United States and it got quite the treatment from Airdesign USA. There’s a new front sump guard, side steps, vents, and a ventilated hood. There’s also a set of flared fenders with exposed bolt apertures that lend a more powerful look and cover the new Fuel Wheels.
Hitting the dirt is a new set of Fuel Vector – D579 rims. These Fuel Wheels measure 20 x 9.0 at the front and rear, and also wear a Matte Black finish that contrasts the factory white paint. The Fuel Vector – D579 rims also work along with a new suspension lift to make traversing rough terrain even easier for the new mid-size pickup.
The Ford Ranger is back again in the United States, and you can bet this bad boy with Fuel Vector – D579 wheels is one of the eye-catchers.
