The Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus Editions have Chrome Wheels and More!

2019 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus Special Editions

More bling and power.

The advanced 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V-8 engine that Chevrolet developed has been incredibly popular since it was introduced in the Tahoe RST and Suburban RST Performance Package models. Now, that engine is available in both SUVs with the new Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus special editions that feature luxury amenities, new styling, and chrome rims.

“Our customers have shown strong demand for both Tahoe and Suburban with the 6.2L V-8 option,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Trucks Marketing and Advertising. “Thirty-six percent of all Chevy full-size SUV special edition models are now sold with this engine. Premier Plus gives both Suburban and Tahoe customers another option to choose from with several added premium touches.”

The new Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus special editions will come standard with a set of 22-inch polished chrome rims along with gold Chevrolet “bowtie” logos, chrome nameplate badges, cross rails, chrome power steps, chrome exhaust tip, and more. Inside, the two models will feature a unique interior with heated and ventilated Black/Mahogany leather and Jet Black trim surround, along with an 8-inch digital cluster, heads up display, and cargo organizer.

More importantly (to some), the 6.2-liter V-8 engine will come standard. This motor will send 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft. of torque to the rear chrome rims. There’s also a 10-speed automatic transmission with smaller steps between ratios and a wide 7.39 overall ratio.

Additionally, the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe PremierPlus editions will be equipped with Magnetic Ride Control. This active suspension system reads the road every millisecond and alters the suspension accordingly to make sure the chrome rims and tires generate maximum grip or comfort in any situation.

The new Chevrolet Tahoe Premier Plus edition will be available with an MSRP of $74,100 while the Suburban Premier Plus edition will carry a $76,900 MSRP. The two models are currently available from Chevrolet dealers.
