“The most enthusiastic off-roaders travel to Moab each year for this premier event, making Easter Jeep Safari the perfect place to showcase Jeep Performance Parts,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO – Mopar Brand Service, Parts and Customer Care. “Jeep owners are passionate about their vehicles and Mopar, with Jeep Authentic Accessories and Jeep Performance Parts, offers a full-line of products for them to express this passion through customization, making sure there is no other vehicle like theirs on the road.”

The new Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail was built from the ground up by a team of engineers, designers, and fabricators that have built more than 50 concept vehicles prior. From the new off road rims to the special interior, the new Cherokee Canyon Trail concept vehicle is built to show off.

The new Cherokee has received numerous awards including the “2015 Four Wheeler of the Year” from Four Wheeler Magazine of which they are especially proud. The team used new Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar parts along with a few concept parts that celebrate its achievement. New Jeep wheels, exclusive graphics, and all terrain goodies make it quite the SUV.

The entire body of the new Cherokee Canyon Trail concept vehicle wears a new Desert Tan paint with contrasting Satin Black hood, lower bodywork, roof accents, and Jeep wheels. A topographical graphic sits on the hood detailing Hell’s Revenge trail in Moab, while Jeep Performance Parts and 2015 “Four Wheeler of the Year” decals sit proudly on the body in black.

All terrain capability is something that the Cherokee Canyon Trail concept vehicle showcases with pride. New Jeep Performance Parts rock rails, two-piece fuel tank skid plate, and two-piece underbody kit plate, oil pan, and suspension skid plates mimic the toughness reflected in the new off road rims. A 0.5-inch lift is provided by the new 17-inch black-painted Jeep wheels wearing meaty BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires.
Turing all four of those newly fitted off road rims is the 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 inline-four engine that’s mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The transmission also features a Jeep Active Drive Lock with a low range and active locking rear differential for maximum grip.

The interior of the Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail sports new Mopar Katzkin leather seat covers with special stitching and a Jeep Performance Parts logo embroidered into the headrests. On the dashboard sit new body-colored bezel accents while a cargo tray mat, Jeep Cargo Management System, Moab off road bag, and all-weather floor mats help keep things clean and organized.

As of now, the Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail is just a concept vehicle. However, many of the Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts will make their way to dealerships as additional options for customers.
