Ford is looking to make quite the impact at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. So far they’ve unveiled a variety of aftermarket and OEM-supported project vehicles such as the Edge, Explorer, Mustang, and now, the Focus ST. The new FSWERKS Focus ST boasts a range of new performance upgrades, custom wheels, and new visual enhancements to steal the show at SEMA.
The turbocharged four-cylinder engine driving the front custom wheels gets a pretty substantial power boost in the FSWERKS Focus ST. The motor was strapped with a new Cool-Flo air intake, front-mount intercooler, and a 3.0-inch stainless steel turbo-back exhaust that optimizes backpressure. A new COBB Tuning and FSWERKS custom ECU software tune makes it all work together and produce a considerable amount of power.
Hitting the pavement are new custom wheels paired up with bigger brakes and a more dynamic suspension. New, monoblock rims measuring 19 x 8.5 at the front and rear are shod with 245/35 R19 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires for added grip. A StopTech big brake kit and FSWERKS stainless steel lines ensure better stopping performance than stock. The suspension was also boosted by a new COBB Tuning anti-sway bar kit and H&R Special Springs street coilover suspension.
Visually, the FSWERKS Focus ST offers more than its new set of custom wheels. The gold paint scheme is paired up with a new Triple R Composites front splitter and side skirts that help the hot hatch cut through air. Inside, a new COBB Tuning Accessport V3 data monitoring system and logging device keeps track of the car’s performance.
The new FSWERKS Focus ST will be shown at the Ford stand at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas on November 3rd.
