The 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD is one of those trucks where you can have your cake and eat it too. It not only offers up some serious work capabilities with towing, hauling, and off roading, but it does it in a more luxurious and high-tech package compared to other similar trucks. That’s not a bad combo, and it only gets better after some new Fuel Wheels and CST Performance Suspension upgrades are tacked on for some added fun and style.
Whether it’s the 6.0-liter Vortec V-8 engine with 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft. of torque or the Duramax 6.6-liter turbodiesel V-8 sending 397 horsepower and 765 lb-ft. of torque to the newly added Fuel Wheels, the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD is more than capable of putting out the power on or off road. Both engines and the high-strength construction allow for some pretty incredible capabilities when it comes to towing, hauling, and more.
For this 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, the main focus was the chassis where new Fuel Wheels and a raised suspension were added to give both looks and performance a boost. The factory rim and tire setup was replaced with a new set of Fuel Hostage III wheels that measure 22 inches in diameter at the front and rear. The eight-spoke Fuel Wheels feature a one-piece construction, even though their deep-dish design might suggest otherwise. The matte anthracite with black ring complements the black paint of the Sierra and adds some toughness to its character.
Armed with the new set of large 22-inch Fuel Hostage III wheels, the GMC Sierra 2500 HD needed a bit of a lift. So, CST Performance Suspension was called in for the suspension where an 8.0-inch suspension lift was installed. This not only allows for greater ground clearance off road, but gives the 37-inch off road tires more than enough room to do their job.
The new suspension and wheel setup on the GMC Sierra 2500 HD instantly adds a tougher presence for the luxury work truck.
