Mountain biking and off-roading!

Every year, Canada’s Whistler Mountain plays home to a 10-day mountain biking festival called Crankworx. The biggest mountain biking festival in North America has also had Jeep as a Gold Level sponsor for the past six years, and the American automaker is back again with a range of special edition vehicles, a Jeep Viewing Lounge, prizes, and everything in between as those Jeep wheels dig into the side of Whistler mountain.

“As the Jeep brand marks its 75th Anniversary in 2016, were thrilled to be back supporting Crankworx,” said Bill Levasseur, Vice President Marketing, FCA Canada. “Part of the Jeep DNA is derived from its prowess for rugged, outdoor adventure, which fits perfectly with this famous B.C. mountain biking event. Also, Crankworx has gone global with events in France and New Zealand, a great reflection of Jeeps success on the world stage.”

A range of 75th Anniversary models will be putting their Jeep wheels into the dirt at the Crankworx festival in a variety of displays. The Wrangler 75th Anniversary Edition, Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, Grand Cherokee Overland, Renegade Trailhawk 4×4, Cherokee Trailhawk 4×4, and Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited will all be on display.

At the 10-day mountain biking festival, Whistler Skiers Plaza will showcase a two-level display with the Jeep Viewing Lounge as one of the five displays from the automaker at the event. Numerous giveaways, sign ups, and experiences will be available to those visiting as well as the opportunity to test drive the aforementioned vehicles on display and get those Jeep wheels dirty.

Crankworx is expected to have 135,000 fans and bring together fans of gravity mountain biking from around the globe, as well as showcasing some serious Jeep Wheels.
