You know the old saying, “You can’t fix stupid.” No matter how much money you have or equipment you’ve prepared, stupid always finds a way to win. Case and point: this Jeep Wrangler getting stuck in the water while trying to show off. Even with superb off road wheels and tires, the wet sand and water is not going to let you go.
This Jeep driver, who is allegedly drunk according to the title of the video, got themselves into some serious trouble while screwing around on the beach. It’s never a good idea to go into sandy waters, even with good off road wheels and tires, and this is just another example as to why.
The driver thought they’d be okay to go for a quick, fun dip, even after allegedly having a few drinks. But with the tide slowly coming in, it turned out to be a very, very bad idea. The Jeep Wrangler, even with it’s off road wheels and tires couldn’t help but get stuck.
As the driver tried to get free by getting on the throttle, the off road wheels and tires only dug deeper into the sand, causing the Jeep to go further and further into the water. The further the Jeep got into the water, the higher the risk of sucking up some water and hydrolocking the engine got. After watching the helpless driver make the situation worse, the camera guy decided to go and try to help.
Don’t be stupid, folks. Also, don’t shoot video in portrait mode, please.
