The battle for horsepower doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon with American muscle cars. The Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang are swinging for the fences while the Dodge Challenger is breaking power figures. This Camaro with Niche Wheels is ready to lay down some muscle in the form of smoking tires on the pavement, and it’s taking names.
The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro revived the iconic muscle car and gave automotive enthusiasts exactly what they were asking for: a rear-wheel drive coupe with massive amounts of power with or without a manual gearbox at a relatively affordable price. That also meant that the aftermarket opened up quite a bit from rims to engine modifications. This Camaro SS with Niche Wheels and slick exterior wrap might not be the all-out horsepower king, but it knows how to put the power down and look good doing so.
Packed under the hood of the Chevrolet Camaro SS is a naturally-aspirated GM LS3 V-8 engine that sends a whopping 426 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 420 lb-ft. of torque at 4,600 RPM to each of the rear Niche Wheels. That’s good for some serious acceleration and passing power.
This muscle car features a slick satin wrap with contrasting gloss black trim piece and logos from front to back. The more aggressive appearance is matched by the new set of Niche Milan – M134 rims with their classic five-spoke shape. Each one of the Niche Wheel also wears a matching gloss black finish to provide more contrast to the satin body. Up front, the Niche Milan – M134s measure 22 x 9.0 while the rear comes in with a fatter 22 x 10.5 setup for a larger footprint.
Thankfully, we can all benefit from the horsepower wars being waged between the Big 3 American automakers with muscle cars like these.
