The Porsche 911 Targa has been around for decades and seamlessly blended convertible driving with a coupe-like design. The Porsche 911 Targa 4S of today, however, is a perfect summer driver and it got even better thanks to a new set of Niche Wheels.
Unlike previous older versions, the new 991-generation Porsche 911 Targa utilizes an intriguing and fun-to-watch automatic top system that neatly tucks the roof away beneath the glass rear window and metal C-pillar with engraved ‘Targa’ lettering. This wider, more powerful 4S model has all sorts of athletic styling from its color and font to the new Niche Wheels.
This Porsche 911 Targa 4S also has a bit more power compared to its predecessors. Here, a new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine is used at the rear to power all four Niche Wheels. In total, a stout 420 horsepower at 6,500 RPM and 368 lb-ft. of torque from 1,700 to 5,000 RPM is created and sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK gearbox.
This vibrant Viper Green Porsche 911 Targa 4S also benefits from a new set of Niche Wheels. Here, Niche Gemello rims were installed and their design fits perfectly with the modern look of the German sports car. The new Niche Gemellos measure 20 x 9.0 up front and a wider 20 x 12.0 at the rear with corresponding performance tires. Each Gemello wheel also features a Brushed face with Gloss Black windows and subtle Viper Green accents for an OEM-like fitment.
