Snowy fun time for the Jeep Grand Cherokee!
While we at WheelHero are all about wheels and tires, there are always some pretty cool gadgets out there that we just have to talk about – even if they don’t directly involve off road rims and tires! This new all terrain track system actually benefits you by keeping your wheels and tires from getting damaged and dirty as an added benefit.
Called the Track N Go, the new system uses tracks to get grip in snow and other types of terrain where grip can be hard to come by. While off road rims and tires can get the job done pretty much all of the time, having a system that you can easily strap on and go isn’t necessarily a bad thing to have in an emergency – or just for fun.
Seen here on a range of Jeeps including it being fitted onto a Jeep Grand Cherokee and its off road rims and tires, the Track N Go system gives the SUV the ability to power through deep snow without a problem while also lifting it farther up to prevent damage underneath or to the suspension. A set of chains, gears, and rollers drive the tracks, negating the need for extreme modifications.
While it’s not a replacement for the serious trail enthusiasts with their beefed up suspensions and off road rims and tires, it’s still a pretty neat thing to have in case you’re suddenly faced with a snowpocalypse.
