Time for some fun in the snow!
It’s always good to have some off road rims and tires when you’re driving in the snow. They allow you to punch through the powdery white stuff better than standard all season rubbers and give you more control. However, no set of off road rims and tires compares to what the Nissan Rogue Warrior is packing.
Instead of a proper set of off road rims and tires – let alone standard all season tires on the factory wheels – the all wheel drive crossover SUV was given the American Track Truck’s Dominator tread system. The aftermarket system is basically a tread track system for each wheel that gives an insane amount of traction in the snow. Supposedly, it’s also just as easy to install as a spare tire.
While it might be a bit more complicated than that, the Nissan Rogue Warrior was outfitted with the setup just for the ski slopes. As people are waiting for the ski lift in line, the Rogue Warrior was able to tow everyone up the hill with greater ability than a hardcore set of off road rims and tires.
The Nissan Rogue Warrior was able to plow through the 40 cm of fresh snow at a 30-degree incline like it was no big deal.
Now we just need to order a few of these and take a trip to the slopes!
