Hey, you forgot something!
We’ve all been there; out in the wilderness off roading with some beefy rims and tires, and there’s nowhere to go to the bathroom, so you make your own. You park, get out, do your business in the woods, and go on your way.
But that’s not always the case.
While your off road rims and tires provide you with plenty of grip, they aren’t immune to rolling away if you’re parked on an incline.
It’s always a good idea to use your parking brake whenever you park your vehicle. Those equipped with manual transmissions may even slide out of gear and those rims and tires will go rolling away.
Which is why we can kind of feel for this poor guy. While relieving himself along the trail, his SUV began to roll backwards and down the incline that the group just drove up. In an attempt to stop the rolling SUV, the man ran as fast as he could to get behind the wheel and hit the brakes.
With those rims and tires rolling progressively faster and faster, the man finally throws his arms up in the air, knowing that he won’t catch the SUV. Shortly after, the vehicle spins and rolls over, coming to a rest on its roof.
Use your parking brake, folks.
