Time to shred some Tires with the new Jeep Trackhawk!

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Burnout

It’s not often that you see an SUV do this!

We freaking love burnouts. Watching wheels and tires spin into a cloud of smoke and be obliterated in the name of power is a wonderful thing to witness and can get your heart pumping with adrenaline.

It’s not often, however, that you see all four wheels and tires of a vehicle erupt in smoke for a burnout. In fact, it’s really uncommon due to the sheer amount of traction that’s generated by the four-wheel drive system. But, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is one of the few that can perform such a feat.

Chris Duplessis was at Fox News Auto to show just what kind of power and performance the new Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is packing under the hood. This was on full display with a burnout of epic proportions that saw all four wheels and tires spin and create a cloud of smoke for everyone to enjoy.

Under the hood, there’s the same 6.2-liter, supercharged V-8 engine that’s used in the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Why? Because why the hell not!? This motor supplies all four wheels and tires with a whopping 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft. of torque. That’s good for a mind-blowing 11.6-second quarter-mile time and a 180 mph top speed. That’s out of this world for an SUV of any kind.

Pricing for this beast starts at $85,900, but will quickly jump with all sorts of dealer fees and any additional options. It may look pricey, but there’s nothing under $100,000 that’s going to provide you that kind of performance in SUV form.

Fun time with Fox News Auto! Not easy harnessing 707HP even with 4 295s!
