Back for a good time.

Back for a good time.

It’s been almost a full decade since the Ford Ranger was being produced for the US market. Thankfully, it’s back and folks are already modifying the heck out of these mid-size pickup trucks. This bad body is fresh from the factory and has been upgraded already with a new suspension, Fuel Rims and more!

The new Ford Ranger packs quite a bit of potential right from the factory assembly line thanks to its new engine. As of now, the standard (and only available) engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged inline-four cylinder motor that cranks out a healthy dose of 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft. of torque. That’s sent to the rear or all-four Fuel Rims thanks to a new 10-speed automatic transmission that blends power with efficiency.

This Ford Ranger has all that and a bag of chips thanks to a healthy dose of upgrades. The entire suspension has been modified and upgraded to provide a significant increase in ground clearance for some off-road fun. This also allowed for a bigger set of Fuel rims and tires to be installed.

Here, the Ford Ranger was outfitted with a new set of Fuel Rebel – D679 wheels with their six twin-spoke design and concave profile. These multi-piece beadlock Fuel rims measure a large 20 x 10.0 at the front and rear axles and are shod in meaty tires that are designed for off-road traction. Each one of the Fuel Rebel – D679 wheels also boasts a Matte Black finish that complements the exterior color scheme of the Ranger perfectly.

The Ford Ranger is new again for the US and this one is already turning heads and hitting the trails with its lift kit and Fuel Rebel – D679 rims.
