Time to shred some tires!
The pony car wars are still raging after decades of competition between the likes of Dodge, Chevrolet, and Ford. That means more power and fun for all of us consumers and more good cars to battle it out. While the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro have evolved into sports cars with big engines and good handling, the Dodge Challenger has reigned king as a straight-line monster that stays true to its muscle car roots. This Challenger SRT-8 does with quite a bit of flash and dazzle thanks to its new Niche Wheels.
The Dodge Challenger SRT-8 was the king of the model line. It came packing a ferociously large 6.4-liter produced a thrilling 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque that the rear Niche Wheels are more than happy to eat up. That also came with a claimed quarter-mile acceleration time of 12.4 seconds at 110 mph, which is very impressive.
This Dodge Challenger SRT-8 is a bit more awe-inspiring on the road than the stock vehicle. There’s a new hood with old-school air intake wearing a contrasting Black paint to match the fading stripes across each side of the muscle car. Black side skirts sit between the new Niche Wheels. There’s also a larger front splitter while the rear is cleaner and purposeful.
The contrasting Black theme continues to the bottom of the car where new Niche Wheels proudly sit. Here, Niche Gamma – M224 rims where chosen for their classic mesh motorsports look. Each one of the Niche Gamma – M224 rims wears a shimmering Gloss Black finish that grabs attention. The fitment is also staggered for a bigger footprint where it counts, with the fronts coming in at 22 x 9.0 and the rear featuring a pair of 22 x 10.5s. A new suspension lowering kit also makes for a clean, flush fitment that’s made for speed.
The Dodge Challenger may not be the corner carver like its competition, but it’s oozing with old-school cool, especially with its new set of Niche Gamma – M224 rims.
