“There’s a fresh look for the 2019 Camaro, which is restyled, reinvigorated and offers more choices and new technologies,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet Car and Crossover Marketing. “It’s the perfect canvas for personalization, and the new Shock color and available accessories demonstrate only some of the possibilities customers have to make the Camaro entirely theirs.”

The new Chevrolet Camaro Shock concept is based on the new 2019 SS model packed with a 6.2-liter, naturally-aspirated V-8 engine producing 455 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 455 lb-ft. of torque at 4,400 RPM. That power is sent to the rear custom wheels through a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.

In addition to the new custom wheels, there’s a six-piston Brembo front brake kit, cold-air induction kits, and suspension bits from the new 1LE model to improve performance even further.

But that’s not all, the new Chevrolet Camaro SS Shock concept will boast a new front-end styling with relocated Chevrolet bowtie badge and graphics on the hood and fenders. A new set of RECARO performance seats will also be featured inside the muscle car.
