The Ford Focus ST has been quite the hit in the hot hatch segment in North America since it was brought over. As always, we car enthusiasts are always happy to get another affordable performance car on our shores and now the Focus ST has even more power to spin those wheels and tires thanks to the new Ford Performance MP275 mountune Focus ST kit for 2015.

In its standard form, the Ford Focus ST sends a pretty impressive 252 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque to each of the front wheels and tires. As always, there’s room for more power and smiles for drivers.

So, Ford Performance developed a new upgrade program that produces even more power from the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine without affecting the reliability. If the Ford Performance MP275 mountune upgrade kit is installed by an authorized Ford Performance technician, then the factory three-year/36,000-mile warranty is retained.

“The 2015 Focus ST MP275 upgrade is the latest addition to Ford Performance’s vast Focus and Fiesta performance catalog that gives enthusiasts the components they need to take their car to the next level,” said Adam Gair, product manager, Ford Performance.

The 2.0-liter, turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine sees an increase of 23 horsepower and 26 lb-ft. of torque from the 2015 Focus ST MP275 upgrade. This raises the total output to 275 horsepower and 296 lb-ft. of torque reaching both of the front wheels and tires without compromising drivability, reliability, or emissions, making it the street-legal answer to more power.

The new upgrade package comes with a mountune induction kit, high-flow intercooler, mTune handset, and all the installation hardware to send more of the good stuff to the front wheels and tires. Customers that need weather protection can opt for the air filter end cap to prevent hydrolocking their engine.
