There’s a lot to like about the Toyota 4Runner. It’s a true SUV that combines space and practicality with off-road performance. It’s based on the Toyota Tacoma, so you know there’s a bulletproof and reliable platform running the show. It’s perfect for an all-terrain, custom build, just like this 4Runner riding on Fuel Wheels and new suspension.
The Toyota 4Runner isn’t an SUV that will blow you away with performance specs. There’s a 4.0-liter, naturally-aspirated V-6 engine under the hood that churns out a healthy 270 horsepower at 5,600 RPM and 278 lb-ft. of torque at 4,400 RPM for all four of the Fuel Wheels to consume. There is, however, loads of tech and hardware surrounding this drivetrain that makes it a competent off-road machine in a variety of situations.
And this customized Toyota 4Runner takes full advantage of them thanks to a wide range of new goodies. This bad boy was given new tinted windows, taillights, and badges to give the SUV a meaner look. There’s also a new skidplate for protection from obstacles and new side steps that make entering and exiting much easier. A new suspension lift raises the ride height considerably and makes for more vertical travel for the new Fuel Wheels and tires.
Hitting the ground are new Fuel Tactic – D630 rims. These concave rims measure a hefty 18 x 9.0 at the front and rear and are shod in some meaty off-road tires for grip in the tough stuff. The new Fuel Wheels also wear a slick Matte Black finish that goes well with the Black-on-Black theme of the SUV.
Armed with a new suspension, new look, and new Fuel Tactic – D630 rims, this Toyota 4Runner is ready and willing to go anywhere!
