Mercedes-Benz has a boatload of models in their lineup these days. Not only are there a variety of different vehicles spanning the alphabet that range from the inexpensive to the wealthy, but there’s also a huge range of model variants. The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is one of the most iconic of those models, and the new Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² is made for those that are looking for real off-road performance.
The new Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² is different than your standard G-Class or AMG model. It’s basically a long-wheelbase G-Class with the off-road tech and hardware from the monstrous Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6. It has the same portal gear axles as the aforementioned 6X6 model along with a 410-mm ground clearance, allowing for more than enough room for the new Fuel Wheels.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² has a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine that generates 416 horsepower and 450 lb-ft. of torque for all four Fuel Wheels to utilize on whatever terrain they are plowing through. There’s also a seven-speed gearbox that’s beefed up to handle the tough situations.
This Black Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² isn’t your average off-road SUV. It’s been outfitted with a new set of Fuel Rampage – D238 rims that feature a concave eight-spoke design. The new Fuel Rampage – D238 rims measure a hefty 20 inches in diameter and are shod in meaty off-road tires for superb performance in any terrain. Each one of the Fuel Wheels also sports an Anthracite finish on the center along with Gloss Black outer lips.
This Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² isn’t your average G-Class rolling around the trails, especially with its new Fuel Rampage – D238 wheels!
