The Toyota Tacoma is one of those mid-size trucks that flies under the radar in the truck world. It’s not the biggest, baddest, or most powerful, but it gets the job done right without a fuss. It’s perfectly suited as an every-day reliable vehicle and the new models have a bit more aggressiveness that can be accentuated by a new set of Fuel Wheels as seen here.
The 3.6-liter V-6 engine with direct-injection offers more than enough power and torque to move the new Fuel Wheels and then some. A total of 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft. at 4,600 RPM allows it to tow and haul all sorts of stuff while achieving superb fuel efficiency. All without that loud, in-your-face over compensation that other trucks like to put on display.
This red truck sports black highlights on the grille, side steps, tailgate, and even the windows that have been tinted. The new set of Fuel Wheels also match the black highlights with their Black and Milled finish with their eight-spoke, star-pattered design.
The new Fuel Lethal –D567 rims replace the somewhat basic and bland models from the factory and instantly give the Tacoma a more aggressive and attractive look. At the front and rear, the Lethal –D567s were fitted in a larger 20 x 9.0 setup for more size and a larger footprint. The new Fuel Wheels also wear beefy 33 x 12.5 R20 tires that are built for going off road and getting the job done.
It’s not the flashiest or biggest, but this Toyota Tacoma does everything right.
