Takin’ care of business.

The Porsche 911 Turbo is the mac daddy of the 911 model range. The supercar has it all from all-wheel drive to a powerful twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. It’s the stuff dreams are made of and it stands out from the crowd with a sort of understated flair. Even after a new set of Niche Wheels, KW suspension, and Vivid Racing goodies, the Porsche 911 Turbo still has a calm confidence that knows its king of the road.

This 991-generation Porsche 911 Turbo walks calmly but carries quite a big stick. The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six cylinder engine that sits up the car’s butt sends a whopping 513 bhp at 6,000 RPM and 487 lb-ft. of torque at 1,950 RPM to each of the four newly-installed Niche Wheels. A seven-speed, quick-shifting dual-clutch PDK gearbox ensures that performance is never interrupted as it springs to 62 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds and a 196 mph top speed. That’s insane for a factory car.

Vivid Racing took the reins with this project. The white Porsche 911 Turbo was upgraded considerably with the chassis. Here, instead of just a traditional coilover setup, they opted for to add on the new KW HLS 2 system. The system is installed on the front axle and raises the entire suspension by 45 mm from the standard height in order to overcome obstacles and prevent damage to the underbody and bumper that can result from scraping. This system is paired up with traditional KW coilovers that reduce the ride height and eliminate any gap between the fenders and Niche Wheels. The suspension also supplies a more dynamic ride than the factory setup as well.

Vivid Racing was quick to remove the factory center-locking wheels on the Porsche 911 Turbo and replace them with new Niche Wheels. The new Niche Grand Prix rims feature a lightweight two-piece construction with step-lip design that accommodates the factory center-locking mechanism and lends to an athletic look. The new wheels were installed in a wide 21 x 9.0 front and 21 x 12.0 rear fitment with a candy red tint finish. New Pirelli P Zero tires grip the pavement with their 255/30/21 front and 325/25/21 rear size.
