This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Jeep brand. The brand‘s vehicles have been to all four corners of the globe and back, and now they’re releasing an array of special-edition models to celebrate. Arguably the most notable of the special models is the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary Edition with special paint, custom wheels, and more.

“In honor of the brand’s 75th anniversary, we have created eye-catching, special-edition models of each vehicle in our lineup that celebrate the unparalleled history of the legendary Jeep brand,” said Mike Manle, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA Global.

Like it’s other 75th Anniversary counterparts, the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited will all be available in a special Green paint contrasted by various trim colors and custom wheels.

The Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary Edition models wear new tow hooks, badging, and front and rear steel bumpers in a Low Gloss Bronze finish. The same finish is applied to both of the 17-inch custom wheels equipped with Goodyear Silent Armor tires to provide some contrast to the factory body paint. The body color paint has been applied to various parts such as the grille and headlight rings for a uniform appearance.

In addition to the new body work and custom wheels, the 75th Anniversary models feature rock rails, and power dome hood with functional air vents.

The drivetrain for both models is also ready and willing to go anywhere. A Jeep Command-Trac transfer case with 2.72:1 ratio along with 2.21 or 3.73 axle ratios make off roading much easier. Plus, it gets even better with a Dana 30 front and heavy duty Dana 44 rear axle setup.

Inside, the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary models feature leather-trimmed heated seats with sport mesh inserts and contrasting stitching. A special 75th Anniversary handle, optional rear locker, and 6.5-inch touchscreen complete the interior upgrades.

The new Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary Edition models will be available in the first quarter of 2016 with an MSRP of $34,575 (Wrangler) and $38,375 (four-door Unlimited).
