We suddenly have a craving for cotton candy…
Down in Australia, they love their muscle cars. Big, rear-wheel drive vehicles with monster V-8 engines spinning those car rims into a cloud of smoke. It’s easy to see why too; they’re utterly a blast to drive even with the skyrocketing prices of fuel.
To celebrate these high-powered machines, they have big burnout festivals Down Under. These are filled with muscle cars just spinning their car rims and thrashing about to take home the title. At the $2000 qualifying session at Lardner Motorfest 2016, Ross Heasley put up quite the show.
Heasley’s monstrous MRBADQ Monaro and its supercharged V-8 engine threw down some serious power on the rear car rims and spun those bad boys into clouds of smoke. But we’re not talking your average white cloud here, these tires erupted in a cotton candy flavored red and yellow smoke as the car rims struggled for grip.
As the tires wore down, they emitted the classic white smoke, but the awe-inspiring fun was already captured on video. There’s nothing like a classic supercharged muscle car making a cotton candy cloud of smoke during a burnout and we hope events like these never die.
