Limited edition hitting the Chicago Auto Show.
RAM Trucks is also getting into the customization and limited edition game with their newest debut at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. Called the RAM 1500 Copper Sport, the limited edition truck features a special paint color, black body work, chrome rims, and lots more inside.
“The Ram 1500 Copper Sport builds on the ever-increasing demand for factory-custom trucks,” said Mike Manley, Head of Ram Brand, FCA – Global. “Our customers continue to enjoy the attention to detail and styling our designers put into each trim level, and this new eye-grabbing model will not disappoint.”
The most eye-catching part of the new RAM 1500 Copper Sport is the monochromatic exterior featuring the Copper Pearl paint color. The Copper Pearl is the only paint besides the Ignition Orange that’s offered as a limited-edition paint on the 2017 RAM 1500 Sport. Add in some black applications and chrome rims, and you have a star.
In addition to the new paint, the RAM 1500 Copper Sport has a new body-colored grille and Sport performance hood with black decals. A black Ram’s head grille badge stares ahead and matches the new black body badging along each side and the black tailgate badge. For models with the two-wheel drive layout, 22-inch chrome rims come standard while four-wheel drive models feature 20-inch chrome rims.
The same customized feel and treatment can be found inside as well. The 2017 RAM 1500 Copper Sport has copper accent stitching and anodized copper-painted spears and trim rings. Deluxe bucket seats come standard with colored Ram’s head embroidery and sport mesh on the inserts. An all-black headliner and pillars provides plenty of contrast while an Alpine nine-speaker sound system with subwoofer serves up some serious entertainment.
The new 2017 RAM 1500 Copper Sport will be limited to just 3,000 units as a Crew Cab V-8. Pricing will start at $45,630 plus $1,320 destination, with deliveries beginning later in February.
