Striped up for SEMA.
The 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas will be showcasing all sorts of high-performance and re-designed vehicles with the latest and greatest aftermarket and OEM parts. Chevrolet is showing two Camaro SS packages this year – the Red Accent and Black Accent with everything from new custom wheels to interior accessories.
“These are great-looking examples of what customers can do to personalize their new Gen Six Camaro,” said Roger McCormack, director, Accessories & Performance Parts Marketing. “This will be the largest-ever portfolio of Camaro accessories and performance parts. The possibilities are limited only by imagination.”
The new Chevrolet Camaro SS Red Accent Package model will be shown in convertible form with a Switchblade Silver Metallic exterior paint and red trim including the new custom wheels and body work. The lower grille sports red inserts while the two front fenders wear red “hash mark” fender graphics. A special red engine cover is also worn under the hood for those that want to put it on full display.
Beneath the red-striped fenders sit a new set of custom wheels. The five-spoke, 20-inch wheels feature a special Gloss Black finish with Red outline striping. New sports tires are also worn to further enhance grip.
Inside, the Chevrolet Camaro SS Red Accent Package model sports a full trim kit. Red aluminum door inserts match the sport pedal covers and premium floor mats with SS-logo. A full interior illumination kit, red knee pads, and center console cover round out upgraded furnishings.
As options, Chevrolet included new performance kits to the SEMA show car. The Camaro SS Red Accent for SEMA will boast a lowered suspension, air intake, and Brembo front brakes hiding behind the new custom wheels.
