It’s been quite some time since we featured a Jeep Wrangler on Fuel Wheels here at WheelHero, and we just couldn’t pass up this bad boy. It’s easy to see why Jeep Wranglers are so popular. They offer ready-to-go off-road capabilities and have a huge aftermarket for those that want to have even more fun tearing up the terrain.
This beast of a Jeep Wrangler comes packed with the naturally-aspirated Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine driving all four Fuel Wheels right from the factory. It also benefits from a host of other upgrades inside and out that make driving through harsh terrain a boatload of fun.
Visually, a full steel cage protects the roof and pillars with a cargo carrying area on the former. A new front bumper provides some added protection and houses a winch for getting itself or friends out of sticky situations. Flared fenders provide more room for the new Fuel Wheels to move vertically and create a muscular appearance. New lighting helps to blaze a path at night while a purposeful rear bumper adds another layer of protection.
To overcome the harsh terrain, new Fuel Wheels were installed with some beefy tires. This Jeep Wrangler features a new set of Fuel Octane – D509 rim wearing a slick Matte Black finish that contrasts the factory paint color but matches the new visual upgrades throughout. The new Octane – D509 rims measure 20 x 12.0 and wear 38 x 13.5 R20 Toyo Open Country M/T tires that are designed to handle all sorts of off-road terrain.
To complete the overall fitment, the new Fuel Wheels were combined with a 4.0-inch Zone Lift kit that raises the ride height considerably. This allows for more vertical wheel travel and gives the SUV the ability to overcome higher obstacles without damage.
