Three wheels of fun.

You don’t always need four wheels to have fun. Seriously. Three rolling pieces of metal alloy strapped with sticky rubber is a recipe for some serious excitement. And in this case, three Niche Wheels is all you need to put a smile on your face. The Polaris Slingshot is a rear-wheel drive experience that puts you right up close and personal with the asphalt.

Unlike other vehicles that are lightweight machines of fun and fury, the Polaris Slingshot has just three total wheels – two in the front and one in the back, the latter being the drive wheel. The front-engined machine uses a 2.4-liter inline-four cylinder engine that produces 173 horsepower and 6,200 RPM and 166 lb-ft. of torque at 4,700 RPM through a five-speed manual gearbox to the rear of the three Niche Wheels.

The design of the Slingshot may look like someone took a page out of a futuristic novel where badasses roam the streets driving three-wheeled machines through fast corners and narrow city streets evading police. The striking straight-edged, sharp-angled styling without doors is the perfect match for the Niche Anzio and Misano rims. The new Niche wheels complement the factory styling and add a custom touch to the two featured Polaris Slingshots.

On the grey Polaris Slingshot, new Niche Anzio wheels were fitted in a 22 x 9.0 front and 22 x 10.5 rear setup. A shiny machined finish is worn by the face while black is used on the inner rim and inner spokes to provide some contrast.

On the white Polaris Slingshot, Niche Misano rims are used in the same 22 x 9.0 front and 22 x 10.5 rear setup. These Niche Wheels sport a matching white base coat that’s contrasted by black edging on the spokes and outer rim for a look that perfectly matches the factory color scheme.
