The new Jaguar XE is out hunting and it’s looking to take down the BMW 3-Sereis as the alpha predator in the segment. So far, with its design, technology, and powertrains, the British sedan seems to have hit a home run compared to its German rivals. This feline has a new set of claws in the form of Niche Wheels that make it even more appealing.
Much of the chassis of the Jaguar XE is made from aluminum to keep weight to a minimum for better overall performance. Even the exterior features riveted aluminum and has a figure that was penned by iconic designer, Ian Callum. The new set of Niche Wheels only adds to that British elegance.
Powering the Jaguar XE is a range of new 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines with a 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 sitting at the top of the lineup. The force-fed V-6 sends a total of 335 bhp and 332 lb-ft. of torque to each of the rear Niche Wheels, sending the sports sedan to 62 mph in just 5.1 seconds.
The nimble sedan has all the athleticism a driver could need and its new Niche Verona – M149 rims only add to its stature. The 19 x 8.5 Niche Wheels properly fill in the front and rear fenders and wear a classy Anthracite finish that perfectly complements the factory blue paint.
The new seven-spoke Niche Verona – M149 rims give a clean aesthetic to the elegant mid-size British sedan. Each rim is outfitted with 255/35 R19 Pirelli PZero rubber to ensure its claws can dig into the asphalt with ease, especially in the tight corners.
While the Jaguar XE is still a relatively new vehicle, especially in the US, this example and it’s Niche Verona – M149 rims will be turning quite a few heads for years to come.
