Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Configurator

Making the mad muscle car all yours.

We’ve been dreaming of this day for quite some time. At the start of summer, Dodge introduced the 707 horsepower Challenger SRT Hellcat that blew our socks off with its vulgar display of power. It didn’t care about no fuel economy standards, luxury ride, or noise. It’s brash, brazen, and a big middle finger to the status quo. Now, Dodge is giving us the chance to build our own super muscle car with the new configurator, with a wide selection of colors, features, and even wheels online.

Right off the bat, a $60,990 price tag is slapped on the bare-bones model, which isn’t bad considering that cars with 700+ horsepower normally reach well into the six-figure range. Only two paint colors are priced as $500 options, being the Phantom Black Tri-Coat Pearl and Granite Crystal Metallic.

Next up comes the choice of transmission that will determine how all 707 supercharged ponies are transmitted to each of the rear wheels online. The standard six-speed manual comes standard while the eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic adds on $1,995. An engine block heater adds another $95.

The massive 6.2-liter V-8 engine is not afraid to throw down the power. Its supercharger whines with muscle and 707 horsepower are transmitted to the rear tires instantly. Buyers will be able to choose from either 275/40 ZR 20 all-season performance tires or summer performance tires to be fitted to their muscle car wheels online, depending on their choice of transmission and rear axle ratio. The exterior can also be combined optioned with a front license plate bracket at no charge and a Satin Black Aluminum hood with functional vents for $995 bones.

Inside, the Challenger SRT Hellcat can be optioned with some goodies as well. The standard Uconnect 8.4-inch infotainment screen can be upgraded with navigation for $695 extra while the standard Nappa leather and Alcantara bucket seats can be replaced with new Premium Laguna Leather SRT seats for $1,795. Red seat belts also come in at $95 extra.

In all, if every option box is checked from the exterior colors, interior accessories, and tires on the wheels online with the configurator, it’s quite hard to push the price limits on the Challenger SRT Hellcat. This is one serious performance bargain.
