Well, that doesn’t sound too good.
The Ford F-150 is a pretty tough and rugged truck. The Ford SVT Raptor takes that to a whole new level with some serious performance to boot. But, even with its Baja pedigree and thorough engineering, even these beefed up truck wheels are still prone to getting stuck.
The Ford SVT Raptor is an off road enthusiast’s dream right off the factory line. A full Fox suspension, performance brakes, lighter and stronger materials, and vehicle-specific hardware is installed to improve off road performance. Even the truck wheels and tires that come standard are designed to chew through all sorts of terrain and handle the extreme stresses that come with the job.
Under the hood, the mighty 6.2-liter V-8 engine producing 411 horsepower is more than enough to get all four of its truck wheels going and into the air on certain jumps. But it clearly wasn’t enough for this driver.
While driving through some very muddy trails in the woods, this driver thought they could blast right through it because, well, it’s a freaking Ford SVT Raptor!
But, the deep, muddy waters proved to be way too tough for its truck wheels. Once the SVT Raptor was first stuck, the driver attempted to back up and hit the water-logged obstacle even harder, only to get completely stuck. Upon trying to give the truck more throttle, something appears to break based on the harsh sounds coming from beneath the bodywork.
That should be a fun repair bill!
