The RAM 3500 Heavy Duty is exactly as its name states: Heavy Duty. It’s built for those that want to work and need to get the job done. It’s big, beefy, and frankly, mean as far as full-size trucks go. This RAM 3500 Heavy Duty is even meaner than your average model thanks to a new set of Fuel Wheels, suspension lift, and other visual upgrades that make it a beast on or off the road.
Whether it’s the mighty HEMI V-8 or Cummins inline-six turbodiesel under the hood, the RAM 3500 has more than enough power to pull, tow, or carry quite the payload. These new Fuel Wheels are more than happy to oblige with whatever the driver has in mind.
Visually, this RAM 3500 dazzles with its Fuel Wheels and new body work. The front bumper is more purposeful with its straightforward design with integrated fog lights. Above it sits a new custom grille with exposed hardware, staring ahead. Dark tinted lights on the roof draw attention at night even more.
The real highlights start beneath the extended fenders. The entire RAM 3500 Heavy Duty stands taller and has an imposing presence thanks to the new 8- to 10-inch Keldermen air suspension with four-corner electric management that gives drivers the ability to set the ride height in any given situation.
The second part of the fitment is all about the new Fuel Wheels. The 22-inch Fuel FFF17 wheels were installed and feature a classic five-spoke design with wide lips. Each wheel wears a glossy black finish on the inside of each spoke and lip while a milled finish was applied to the border of each spoke and inner rim. Each wheel also was equipped with a beefy 40/15.5 R22 Toyo Open Country M/T tire that quickly sends mud, dirt, and any other terrain flying from the tread for grip in any off road situation.
