We love our fans here at WheelHero and we also love to show off the great things that they do with their vehicles. One customer of ours ordered a fresh pair of Fuel Wheels for their 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock limited edition that’s packed with off-road goodies and it’s quite the stunner.
The black Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock sports a beefed up chassis that’s designed to go anywhere and do anything. The new Fuel Wheels are paired up with an AEV 3.5 DualSport RS 5160 that raises the overall height while providing a ride quality that can perform admirably on the road or trail. New Rock Krawler control arms were also installed to ensure proper ground clearance for the new suspension setup. Any shimmy or handling issues have been eliminated thanks to a new TeraFlex Trackbar.
The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine sending a total of 285 horsepower to all four of the new Fuel Wheels hasn’t been overly modified for a higher output. Instead, the drivetrain has been beefed up with new Adams 1310 driveshafts and ARB differential covers. A new Gibson exhaust lets the engine gives the Pentastar V-6 a more aggressive tone.
The star of the show is easily the new set of Fuel Octane wheels. The complex design and slick black finish were perfect matches for the limited edition Jeep model. At all four corners and at the rear, the Fuel Wheels measure 18 x 9.0 and are shod in meaty 35/12.5 Nitto Trail Grappler tires for off-road performance.
Visually, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock looks even more adventurous thanks to some new modifications. TNT Adventure Sliders, Drake door inserts, RR hood latches with BOLT hood lock, and TeraFlex HD hinged carrier for the spare wheel make for a more rugged look. Lighting the way are Superbright LED lights and IPCW tail lights.
