Coming from Russia with a whole lotta’ love is the SERP. Created by Alexei Garagashyan, it’s the ATV of your dreams. It’s relatively inexpensive, light, has massive off road wheels and tires, packs a diesel, and can literally go anywhere.
The small Russian SHERP ATV tips the scales at just 2,866 lbs. and is powered by a 44.3-horsepower 1.5-liter Kubota V1505 four-cylinder diesel engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Its massive off road wheels and tires can go 28 mph on land or even crawl at 9.3 mph in first gear.
While 80-percent of the SERP ATV seems to be made up of four large off road wheels and tires, this custom-made combo can self-inflate. The tread on the mighty tires also allows it to propel itself in water, where the ATV can float, up to 3.7 mph.
Thanks to skid steer, the SERP can also turn in 11-feet, its own length. Its 8.2-foot width makes it very maneuverable in tight situations. In the case of an obstacle, the SERP ATV’s massive off road wheels and tires can climb heights as tall as 27.5 inches.
The SERP ATV also can be outfitted with a variety of options such as a generator, trailer, hard-top, and more. In standard form, it comes with a polymer coating and a large 15.3-gallon fuel tank for long expeditions.
In its basic form, the SERP ATV costs about $49,000. That’s quite a bargain.
