Dropping the price and raising the fun.

The Dodge Viper is a classic American supercar and sales have finally started to increase for the latest-generation model as of late. To help keep the momentum, Dodge has adjusted the MSRP and equipped its new models with standard equipment that was once optional in the 2014 models that they replace, including items such as custom wheels, beefier brakes, and that legendary 645 horsepower V-10 engine that has some potent venom.

“The jump in Viper’s September sales after we announced the new $84,995 starting price showed that the overall repositioning to competitively price Viper with the first 1992 model was on target. But that was just the start,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge and SRT. “Today, we’re expanding the Viper lineup by offering the track ready Viper TA 2.0 and GTS models with even more content. This limited-production hand-built super car is the flagship of the Dodge brand, and we will continue to show our commitment to its future.”

The standard 2015 Dodge Viper SRT will start with an MSRP of $84,995 and come with loads of standard features. New interior accent stitching, ‘Viper’ badging on the aluminum door sills and more adorn the cockpit. The 8.4-liter aluminum V-10 engine sends a total of 645 horsepower and 640 lb-ft. of torque to each of the 18- and 19-inch custom wheels through a six-speed Tremec manual gearbox. Dual side exhausts, front and rear Brembo brakes, and more help set the factory Viper in a league of its own.

Stepping up is the $94,995 2015 Viper GT that boasts Nappa leather and Alcantara on the front seats more interior goodies than its standard sibling. A two-mode sport suspension helps the custom wheels gain a grip advantage on the track and works with the five-mode ESC. Visually, the GT model boasts a more powerful-looking ‘GTS’ hood and two-piece StopTech slotted rotors up front clamped down by red Brembo brake calipers.

The track-oriented $101,995 TA 2.0 Special Edition gives Viper drivers the best driving experience in the lineup. A high-performance Aero Package features a competition rear spoiler, lower front dive planes, and more to generate more downforce. Behind the 18- and 19-inch custom wheels with matte black finish sit two-piece Brembo rotors and black and orange Brembo calipers with high-performance brake pads. A carbon fiber cross-brace, dual-mode suspension, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, and loads of other track-oriented goodies help to sharpen up the supercar’s performance.

The top-dog – or top-snake in this case – is the $107,995 2015 Dodge Viper GTS. Many of the optional features in the rest of the lineup are now standard in the GTS model. Laguna leather seats, Alcantara headliner, an 18-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, and Nappa leather trim are worn throughout. Special staggered Venom wheels pair up with orange brake calipers for a proper stance. New colors and trims are also available.

The new 2015 Dodge Viper SRT models have begun hand assembly and production at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, and will be available in the first quarter of 2015.
