The toy fad gets even worse.

If you haven’t heard of, seen, or used a fidget spinner in the past year, then you’re lucky and have been living under a rock. These basic toys are the latest craze sweeping classrooms and playgrounds across the globe, and have been banned in schools for their ridiculousness. But this team in Russia decided to make a car version with some cheap rims.

A bunch of Russian bloggers got together and found three old, beat to hell cars with cheap rims and decided to construct their own motorized fidget spinner. Why? Well, why the hell not, right?

So, the team cut each of the three vehicles in half from the roof to the floor and used the front halfs that were left as the basis for their fidget spinner. The cars were then welded together at the sides, making it a three engined project with six cheap rims hitting the pavement.

After the cars were welded together, three different drivers hopped in their respective seats and began to drive and steer. Obviously, the mass of cars didn’t exactly go anywhere and just spun around. The small engines caused some of the cheap rims and tires to generate a bit of smoke, but they essentially just spun in place like the toy that they were modelled after.

While this is a kind of cool, batshit crazy project, they should throw it all away along with all the fidget spinners when they’re done.
