Watch these Wheels and Tires get Destroyed by a Pothole in Detroit

Warren, MI Pothole Wheels and Tires

This is unacceptable.

If you own any type of vehicle, then you know that potholes are not fun in the least bit. They cause damage, are hard to avoid, and can seemingly pop up out of nowhere instantly. If you hit one hard enough, then you can do some serious damage to your wheels and tires.

Detroit, Michigan is no stranger to potholes as are many areas in the northern part of the United States. Because of the changing temperatures and weather conditions, asphalt expands and contracts, causing cracks in the road. Throw in salt and snowplows, and millions of wheels and tires hitting the pavement, and you’ll have some pretty decent potholes popping up all over.

Warren, MI Pothole Wheels and Tires

Warren, a suburb of Detroit, was home to one big pothole that was wreaking havoc on drivers. The news team at WDIV in Detroit was on scene to capture the carnage. While broadcasting live, drivers were hitting the pothole and damaging their wheels and tires, forcing them to pull over and put on a spare.

During the broadcast, a whopping 19 vehicles hit the pothole, resulting in 22 wheels and tires that had to be replaced or fixed. Locals attempted to help, with one man redirecting traffic with road flares. After those died, another resident placed a construction cone over the pothole to at least give some drivers warning.

This is utterly insane and unacceptable. The city should have fixed the pothole quickly before it cost drivers hundreds of dollars.
