Quite the thrill ride!
The city of Kamloops, British Columbia, is home to a very hilly and mountainous landscape inhabited by nature. It’s not an easy place to drive, especially off road. This driver decided to put his new GMC Sierra wheels to good use and take on one of the toughest tests in town.
Daniel Vye had recently purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra that is designed and built to get work done and go off road. So, he got those new GMC Sierra wheels a bit dirty and headed out to the infamous Kamloops Widowmaker hill with a few friends.
The large, steep hill is carved with the attempts of truck, SUV, dirtbike, and buggy drivers that have tried to climb to the top. It’s no easy feat and is very dangerous, especially for a truck. Many modified vehicles have failed, flipped, and rolled down the hill trying.
Vye wasn’t going to back down with his new truck though. So, he backed up to get as much space as possible and mashed the throttle, forcing those GMC Sierra wheels to grab the dirt and mud.
The quick drive to the base generated a considerable amount of speed that was necessary to propel the truck up the hill. However, as the truck climbed it started to battle gravity pulling it downwards as the GMC Sierra wheels struggled for grip.
Thankfully, after some skilled driving, Vye was able to get to the top in triumph!
