Putting the world record jump into perspective.
Crazy stunts and jumps are no stranger to Joe Sylvester. Earlier this year, he drove his Bad Habit monster truck equipped with KMC Wheels into the record books with an astonishing jump of 237-feet, six-inches.
The record-setting jump had it all: fireworks, fire, massive airtime, and even a bit of a crash. Adrenaline and high-octane fuel were pumping through Joe Sylvester’s veins has he somehow managed to launch the KMC Wheels Bad Habit monster truck over the dirt jump and into history.
After the truck started to come down, the front two tires began to take a nosedive and hit the ground first, causing Sylvester to momentarily lose control as he worked to get all four KMC wheels on the ground. After going a bit off course and running through a few tree branches, Sylvester emerged from the KMC Wheels Bad Habit monster truck successfully holding the new world record.
We covered the jump earlier this year and now the team has released the exclusive GoPro cut of the jump. The team pieced together some exciting footage of Sylvester’s feat from a few different perspectives where they had the pint-sized cameras mounted.
