Dodge may have dropped the RAM pickup truck, but its name still lives on under its own brand, and boy does it like to make a statement. There’s still a lot to like about these tough and rugged machines, especially in their heavy duty guise. This Dodge RAM 2500 is packed with all sorts of upgrades and a fresh set of custom Fuel Wheels to get the job done and have some fun.
The RAM 2500 is built for heavy duty work and power. Under the hood, there’s a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel inline-six engine that cranks out a whopping 385 horsepower and 900 lb-ft. of torque for the rear Fuel Wheels to eat up. The suspension in stock form as well as much of the chassis has been beefed up in order to accommodate heavier payloads.
But this Black RAM 2500 has a bit more fun up its sleeve. It’s been modified with a whole assortment of goodies to make off-roading way more enjoyable. The front and rear bumpers have been replaced with more rugged metal units, the former of which lends a more purposeful face. Even the fenders have been widened a touch to make room for the new Fuel Wheels. There’s also a significant upgrade to the suspension from the generous lift kit to the steering and springs. The final touch is the new LED lighting integrated into the front bumper to blaze a trail ahead.
Plowing through pavement, dirt, mud, or anything else in their way are new Fuel Wheels. Here, this RAM 2500 was outfitted with a custom set of Fuel FF23 rims that measure a hefty 22 x 12.0 at the front and rear. These new Fuel FF23 rims were each given a Gloss Black and Milled finish that matches the exterior of the truck while also adding in a slight eye-catching contrast. New 37/15.5 R22 Toyo Open Country M/T tires give this fitment all the ammo it needs for off-road fun.
