Highly anticipated.
Jeep has a cult-like following and it’s easy to see why. These American off-road machines are absolute beasts and have been for decades. They have quite the heritage and now the brand is bringing some of those names back such as the Gladiator. This rugged pickup truck is basically a Wrangler with even more capability and this one is wearing a new set of Fuel wheels.
From the factory, the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is a beast of a machine. There’s a 3.6-liter naturally-aspirated Pentastar V-6 engine that comes standard that provides a healthy dose of 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque for all four Fuel wheels. This also allows for a towing capacity of 7,650 lbs. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard while an eight-speed gearbox is available as an option.
Elsewhere, there’s tons of components such as FOX Shocks, a 4:1 Rock-Trac Heavy-Duty Part-Time four-wheel drive system, and a performance suspension above the new Fuel wheels. Elsewhere, not much has been done by the owner to upgrade the pickup truck – so far.
The biggest star of the show on this new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is the new set of Fuel Contra – D644 rims. These Fuel wheels measure 20 x 10.0 at the front and rear, and feature a 10-spoke design with a concave profile for a muscular look. Each one of the new Fuel Contra – D644 rims also boasts a custom Red finish that contrasts the exterior and matches the Red outline on the ‘Rubicon’ lettering. New Fuel Gripper M/T tires have also been fitted and measure a large 35 x 12.50 R20 at both axles.
The Jeep Gladiator is new on the off-road scene once again, and this one is already turning lots of heads with its Fuel Contra – D644 wheels.
