The monster SUV that is the Chevrolet Tahoe has really nothing that stacks up against it, other than a few domestics within the same automotive umbrella. It’s big, beefy, and has a classic American V-8 churning out power to your choice of all four or just the rear wheels. This lifted beast of gasoline muscle is even more intimidating and ready for some off-road fun with its suspension and Fuel Wheels.
Armed with the 6.0-liter Vortec 6200 V-8 engine sending 345 horsepower and 340 lb-ft. of torque to the Fuel Wheels, this Chevrolet Tahoe is ready for anything, It’s classic American powertrain is a thing to admire with its straightforward, no BS design that can get almost any job done on or off the road, which makes it perfect for this application.
Here, this beast of a Chevrolet Tahoe was given a set of Fuel Maverick – D260 wheels that feature an eight-spoke design with exposed hardware. As an added bonus, each rim was dressed with a Chrome finish contrasted by a Gloss Black lip. At the front and rear, the Fuel Wheels measure out to a massive 24 x 12 fitment, which is not exactly easy to fit beneath those fenders.
In order to make the new fitment work and give the SUV better off-road capabilities, the entire suspension was lifted up considerably. This also allows the beefy Fuel Gripper M/T tires that measure a mighty 37×13.5 R24 on the Fuel Wheels to fit without worry of rubbing.
After adding in some new eye-catching lights, bumper mesh, and a serious roof rack with LED light bars, this Tahoe is ready for anything on or off road.
